The exhibition showcases gold articles for royal funeral and Buddhist offerings. Each of these golden artifacts is considered a masterpiece of elaborate art, for example, Phra Saeng Khan Chaisri (Sword of Victory) from Wat Ratchaburana and the Buddha’s relics from Wat Mahathat, etc.

Projects: Projects

The highlight of this exhibition is the full-size simulation of the mural paintings in the second crypt of Wat Ratchaburana created with a ceramic tile printing technique from Japan that give visitors a virtual atmosphere inside the crypt. In addition, designs inspired by the patterns of textiles and architectures in Ayutthaya Period are created and combined with gold plates in the shapes of swan and angel, which is an artistic extension of the wisdom heritage inherited from our ancestors into valuable works of exquisite art for future generations.
